Thank you, but most of the commit messages do not follow the suggested
format (always starting with "ru-RU: ") and there are way too many
commits for no gain.

Please squash multiple commits together in logical entities. I
do not want to see "next small part of translation" then "another small
part of translation ", etc.

You should aim to do no more than one commit per translated chapter
unless you have good reasons to do so (for example if two different
persons translated the chapter). You can use "git commit --amend"
to avoid creating useless commits or you can squash them together
afterwards with "git rebase -i" (and the squash or fixup commands).

(Note that "git commit --amend" is also used during rebase to reword
a commit message)
