starting to use the libgap provided by gap itself. I had noticed
this before, but not that gap 4.9 already seems to provide libgap.<br>

The changelog entry for the gap 4.9 package does not mention
anything about this. Could libgap be provided by the gap package

does not allow to use the current ad hoc libgap material used Debian.
I have just realized it while trying to upgrade.

Meanwhile, I am not sure what to do. Is it the ad hoc package still relevant for Sage 8.4 ?
