Since 0.83 is quite old (last update released is 1 year old), you may
want to upgrade your GLPI and fusioninventory plugin to 0.84 to first
check if your issue has not been fixed.

FYI, this feature has been deprecated since 0.84 because it wasn't
reliable enough.
