To disable the task, use "no-task" option, setting it with "Maintenance". Under win32, just edit the option in the registry otherwise on other systems you need to edit the config file.<br></div><div><br></div><div>5 minutes is still a very long run ! Of course 15 is a lot more... Is the system heavyly loaded while the agent runs ?</div><div>Try to enable the debug option, you should see then which task is really long and eventually which Inventory task module can be too slow.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Let me makes some asumptions as you said nothing about your system... You're running the agent on win32, maybe in a VM without enough resources. On such systems, I still saw the inventory can take a very long time doing WMI calls especially while doing software inventory and many system hotfixes has been installed (on old very old systems).
