[Nut-upsdev] A question, and maybe a request

Gentlemen,

On several occasions now I would have liked to start a complete set of
(newhidups + upsd + upsmon) in the background, but with significantly
more output to syslog. From a cursory look at the code, it looks to me
that it might be easy to add an option similar to -D that doesn't stop
putting the process into the background. I understand that higher levels
of debug would create a lot of syslog output, but for a short run that
wouldn't bother me.

I would rather not waste my time finding out that I am missing something.
So my question is, am I missing something, and if not, could this be added
(to server/upsd.c clients/upsmon.c, and drivers/main). A second question
would then be, should this also go into the respective configuration files,
but I would be quite happy with the command line form.

Thanks, AG
