Generally speaking, you shouldn't have any trouble using a Keyspan
USB-to-RS232 adapter on a Mac. The Keyspan drivers seem to be
well-written, and the "PDA adapters" (USA-19, USA-19W - I think) can
often be bought inexpensively on eBay.
