<p>I haven't gotten a comparable 5KVA or 6KVA UPS connected to CentOS 8 recently. Working remotely makes setting this up a little harder.</p>
<p>Looking back, my last similar test was a smaller 400x on CentOS 7.6.</p>

<p>In any event, does "<font size="2"><span style="font-size:10pt;">I should have mentioned that we will also be using nagios for monitoring via the network port.</span></font>" mean you will be using the WEBCARDLX accessory (<a href="https://www.tripplite.com/web-management-accessory-card~WEBCARDLX/" class="OWAAutoLink" id="LPlnk730135" previewremoved="true">https://www.tripplite.com/web-management-accessory-card~WEBCARDLX/</a>)?
If yes, just as an FYI it will report to many of the "UPS MIB"/RFC1628 values which gives you more monitoring options and I'd think open up the possibility of using Network UPS Tools with the SNMP-UPS driver (<a href="https://networkupstools.org/docs/man/snmp-ups.html" class="OWAAutoLink" id="LPlnk73400" previewremoved="true">https://networkupstools.org/docs/man/snmp-ups.html).
