The package recommended by Salicru is the PowerMaster software, but this will not install to the Pi (the OS is Raspbian “Jessie”, also tried on a pi with Raspbian “Stretch”). The Pi’s are version 1B and 3. I upgraded the Pi software of both to today’s authorised versions.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Previously, I had a Belkin UPS and used the Blazer_USB driver, which worked fine.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The Salicru says it is HID-compliant, and connects via USB, so I tried the <b>usbhid-ups</b> driver. This reports “<b>No matching HID UPS found</b>”. And then “Driver failed to start”. This driver appears to be the one to use, but only seems to be compatible with a limited range of UPS’s.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I am using NUT 2.7.4. I suspect the usbhid-ups driver needs to have the Salicru UPS added.
