Synaptic finally found libssl-dev and the configuration summary now shows:<br>

build serial drivers: yes<br>
build USB drivers: yes (libusb-1.0)<br>
enable SSL support: yes (OpenSSL)<br>

Everything else is "no".<br>
<br>
Nevertheless, has anyone achieved a full build of 2.8.0 on Debian 11?<br>
