We’re testing NUT 2.8.5 on Windows Server 2022 with a Tripp Lite USB UPS (`09ae:3015`), using the native winhid 0.11 backend.
NUT consistently reports “on battery” while Windows reports AC online and onsite staff confirm normal power. Battery charge and other readings are updating. Testing with and without `pollonly` produced the same result. We haven’t enabled automatic shutdown.

Could this be related to the HID layout issue discussed in #3717 / PR #3723? Is there a recommended build or next diagnostic step?

Happy to provide sanitized debug logs if helpful.

Thank you,
Luke Sterzer
