<div dir="auto">What I want is: to run offlineIMAP as root in order to get a user mail box and to store it locally but I want to store it not as root:roo but instead as vmail:vmail. I prefer to have this user and group specified at the offlineIMAP and not to change ownership (user & group) afterwards.<br></div>

Is there any supporting way to set user:group ownership in order to save the maildir in the local repository using these pre specified? I don't want to have root ownership, even if I run the offlineIMAP as root, also I don't want to create separate user.
