<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">Ook vandaag blijft hij zijn instinct volgen en dat vertelt hem dat bij maar beter voorzichtig kan zijn. De Amerikaanse bedrijfsschulden zijn een tikkende tijdbom onder het financieel systeem, ze dreigen op de eerste plaats de beurskoersen onderuit te duwen.</span></div>

<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">Volgens Jeffrey Gundlach is het plaatje klaar en duidelijk: het probleem met de bedrijfsschulden is volledig uit de hand gelopen en dat zullen we eerder vroeg dan laat geweten hebben. </span></div>
<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">De volgende recessie zal iets anders worden dan de vorige, die gelinkt kon worden aan de crisis op de huizenmarkt. De combinatie van bedrijfsschulden en de manipulatie van de rentevoeten zullen ons zuur opbreken.</span></div>
<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">De cijfers spreken in dat verband boekdelen. </span></div>
<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">In een interview met Fox Business legde Gundlach uit dat Amerikaanse nationale schulden vorig jaar met 6% zijn gestegen en dat was veel meer dan de groei van het Bruto Binnenlands product. </span></div>
<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">Dit wil naar zijn mening zeggen dat de volledige groei van de Amerikaanse economie in 2018 op rekening van een aangroei van de schulden moet geschreven worden.</span></div>

<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">De Amerikaanse centrale bank houdt de rente momenteel kunstmatig laag, maar dat is op termijn niet houdbaar. </span></div>
<div><span style="line-height: 120%; color:#333333;">Wanneer de rente stijgt, zal de crisis alleen maar erger worden. </span></div>
