Package: alsa-source
Version: 1.0.5a-1
Severity: important

After doing apt-get install alsa-source no alsa-driver.tar.bz2 was
created in /usr/src. The problem remained after running dpkg-reconfigure
alsa-source (selected ens1371 as the only driver).
Downloaded the alsa-source.deb file for sarge/testing (although I use
sid). Installing this .deb through dpkg -i and dpkg-reconfigure worked
fine, the /usr/src/alsa-driver.tar.bz2 was created.
So it seems to me something is wrong in sid's alsa-source.deb.

kind regards,
joachim

If it (dieting) was like a real time strategy game, I'd have loaded a save
game from ten years ago.
