They are both set to off by default in /etc/init.d/alsa-utils:

switch_control "Headphone Jack Sense" off
switch_control "Line Jack Sense" off

You can do as follows:
# rm /var/lib/alsa/asound.state
# /etc/init.d/alsa-utils start

Check wether the Jack Senses are muted?
