the NEW queue because of the new binary package. I hoped the bug
wouldn't let the package migrate to testing, but it was too late.

I think if we succeed re-using Kern's regression tests somehow that
would be really good. The tests seem to use a kind of library for
functions. I haven't looked closely yet, but maybe we can adapt the
library so it works for us.
