I noticed that you put 0.98.5~beta2 in the clamav-milter.maintscript, 
but the man page says it should be the prior-version:
"For example, for a conffile removed in version 2.0-1 of a package, 
prior-version should be set to 2.0-1~."
So that should be:
rm_conffile /etc/default/clamav-milter 0.98.5~beta1+dfsg-3~ clamav-milter

Yes, but I guess libclamunrar should be built with LFS support as well.

Apropos libclamunrar: It would be nice if we could get rid of that 
package in non-free. There is a free 'unar' package, which can extract 
RAR v2 and v3, so I think it should be possible to let unar extract rar 
archives to some temporary directory and then let clamav scan the 
extracted files, eliminating the need for libclamunrar. Just an idea.
