thanks for your bugreport. unfortunately your suggestion is not an
option. in order to support system which do have some/all crypto support
compiled into the kernel adding modules to the initramfs will remain
quiet.

i consider to change the default way to include crypto modules into the
initramfs though: in future simply all available crypto modules will be
added into the initramfs. that slightly increases size of the initramfs,
but in return fixes all issues with current buggy module detection.
for example crypto hardware drivers, padlock modules etc aren't included
at the moment. currently it intend to keep the current detection system
available as a configurable alternative, for minimal systems where
initramfs size matters.
