I'm new to Debian but am very interested in getting more involved in the community and open source in general. Deepin is interesting to me because of its beautiful UI.

I looked into packaging the new upstream version of deepin-screen-recorder as it hasn't been updated in some time and is a way to help the team.

The latest upstream version 5.10.15 fails to build. Several files in src/CMakeLists.txt do not exist in the latest version: screen_shot_event.h, screen_shot_event.cpp, lib/GifHgif.h, xgifrecord.h, xgifrecord.cpp. The issues tab function has been disabled on

 the Github page for deepin-screen-recorder.<br>
