I've put some work there [1] quite some time ago, and have not touched it since.
Although I know there are applications out there using etk (I've been told some
SHR stuff does, but I'd like to know what interesting applications you're
talking about anyway), I'm not planning on working towards uploading etk to the
archive. If it's really necessary, I guess I can put it in shape and poke
pkg-fso to get etk uploaded there, though.
The reason for this is that etk is no longer actively developped, and barely
actively maintained. Applications using it should seriously consider using etk
or elementary instead.

What networ-manager are you talking about ? I know about exalt, but it's been
ported to elementary.
