IMO none of these look related.  If you're really still using linux 5.3, I'd
suggest upgrading linux-image-amd64.

Yea, phab isn't very active for E, especially for user questions.  You want to
contact enlightenment-users at lists.sourceforge.net.

This is E logging it's backlight changes - but so far, it seems like it's not a
backlight control issue.
