<strong><u>Summary:</u></strong>
<ul>
<li>The main function of a customer service representative is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service representative is responsible for determining the client’s issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both.<br />
</li>
</ul>
<strong><u>Job Responsibilities:</u></strong>
<ul>
<li>Provide superior customer service to all internal/external business partners</li>
<li>Assume ownership and timeliness in handling agency inquiries and policy change requests in an efficient, accurate and professional manner</li>
<li>Responsible for processing changes in a fast-paced inbound phone environment. Changes include Quotes, Endorsements, Re-writes, Policy Cancelations etc.…</li>
<li>Demonstrate the ability to analyze information to make appropriate decisions and solve problems</li>
<li>Maintain basic knowledge of Property and Casualty, principals and company products while following basic underwriting guidelines</li>
<li>Effectively navigate multiple systems (candidates will be trained on Proprietary Clients systems applications) to research, analyze and resolve customer inquiries.</li>
<li>Must be able to navigate and be familiar with Microsoft Office Word (use of internal templates in Word) and Excel (data entry)</li>
<li>Maintain established levels of productivity and quality standards within a fast-paced environment. SLA’s will be reviewed with candidates during interview.</li>
<li>Process assigned work within the established timeframes<br />

</ul>

<li>Strong customer service skills including oral and written communication</li>
<li>Knowledge of customer service principles and practices</li>

<strong><u>Education/Experience:</u></strong>

<li>College Degree preferred as this is tracking for a temp to perm career opportunity, however, High school diploma or GED will be considered.</li>
<li>0-2 years customer service-related experience required. Phone, Data Entry and or Processing experience a plus.</li>
