My question is very simple. How do I disable any security-ip check with
the server? (exim4-daemon-light)

That's why I was trying to refer to host_lookup... << Does anyone know
for a newbie like me where I can find an index about the
options/directives descriptions? .. if so please tell me where so.. you
can tell me to read the f*an manual.. but tell me what section thanks.. :)

Since I'm not caring at all for security validation on 1 host. < As i
said i only like to pick up logs from a closed lan device and that's
pretty much it.

Log?

Absolutely zero. nothing in /var/log/exim4/paniclog, mainlog and rejectlog..

If anyone has a clue, please let me know thanks..

.. as I said, tcpdump host 192.168.1.5 shows smtp traffic.. here's a
sample..

"

If you need more description about the messagings from tcpdump, please
let me know how i can accomplish this if you don't mind :} ?.. I do not
know how to go further into details but would try my best if told to
check out a tool or something.. I would like to know what message
details occur in this tcpdump when I click "Test e-mail" from my dns321
unit..

any reply from anyone thanks..

If this helps-> Previously the only thing showing up in the mainlog was
the fact I did no have a reverse-dns-ip for dns321.. so after I inserted
one in nslug dns_server I no longer had anything new in the log.. that's
why I started looking up into host_lookup etc.. << simply disabling any
ip security would not bother me unless I knew how to do it!.. I suspect
alot of you know how to disable it and would greatly appreciate it if
you can tell me a hint on how to because i really put some effort into
building a backup server and help many others on other mailing list.. I
would really appreciate it thank you..
