That's a bit strange. You are not able to use the SVM classifier then? If not, what happens if you run svm_margin.py in doc/examples?

I don't get those warnings, but looking at your wtf() output it seems your packages are quite recent. It does not seem to me that this would be the cause of SVM not working (but I could be wrong).
