ah, yes, thanks!

indeed, thanks!!

I'm happy to say I merged these and other recent fixes into our 7.2 release branch, and am now left with just the following:

$ lintian -IE *.deb  | grep -v symbols | grep -v hardening | grep -v description | grep -v rpath
X: libzarafa-server0: shlib-calls-exit usr/lib/libzarafa_server.so.0.0.0
X: libzcp-common-ssl0: shlib-calls-exit usr/lib/libzcp_common_ssl.so.0.0.0
I: libzcp-common-util0: spelling-error-in-binary usr/lib/libzcp_common_util.so.0.0.0 Nam Name

I can still work on the symbols and description issues before 7.2.1-final, as that should be quite safe.. and of course the 'hardening' issues will probably be solved on your side later. the rpath issues should not occur at all on your side. the "Nam" issue is caused by a char string "Viet Nam", so should be easy to solve or fine to suppress I would think..

the nastiest issue left is probably the calling of 'exit' in some shared libraries (which we may have actually just introduced with our recent packaging/library changes).. but I will have a look at the symbols stuff first, then the descriptions..

cheers,
mark.
