we took a slightly different approach here in one of the recent changes
to kopanocore, but the thing is the same in the end. Unfortunately it
has taken this long time.

We never had the time to do any backporting of the Kopano related
packages as at least in my impression we simply don't have reached a
quality state we would need to provide backported packages. Some
additional kopano-webapp packages (e.g. smime) are also needed to get a
complete suite of packages.

Buster is just some months to go so we wont do anything for backporting
the current state to Stretch.

If you want to step as a package maintainer for missing kopano-webapp
packages e.g. please join the mailing lists. We are happy to get new
members into the team!
