Package: rhythmbox
Version: 0.6.1-1
Severity: normal

I have some MP3 files in my collection whose length is miscalculated by Rhy=
thmbox, apparently these all are VBR files. Some are given less than 5 seco=
nds of duration, while others are displayed with thousands of seconds; actu=
ally, this files span for 4-8 minutes. "Mp3info -x" gives the correct lengt=
h, so I don't think there's something wrong with the files themselves.

XMMS used to have this same problem up to release 1.2.8 (I'm almost sure th=
at version 1.2.7 still suffered from this problem), now it's able to give t=
he proper length for all files. If that weren't enough, I could send a coup=
le of samples to whomever plans to take charge of this.

Regards,
