Bug#423534: Please continue providing glade2

I, as current glade maintainer have no plans nor interest going in that
direction. I am not against anyone maintaining glade2 as a separate
package, though, but I would recommend against having it released with
Lenny. I suggest that you make this bug report a RFP, thus.

unstable is a development branch, this is the time to sharpen those
edges

That has been made obsolete since glade2, and libglade is the
recommended way of using glade files for quite some time now

I think it is pretty usable in a 1024x768 display, but I agree this is
very subjective. I believe you should open a bug report about this
problem alone, and perhaps suggest some way that would make it more
usable for you, so that we can work with the upstream maintainers on
having this be better.

We better have glade-3 in shape soon then =). Glade2 is not really being
supported upstream since some time now, I've seen many "I'm not going to
fix this because glade3 is on its way" since before glade3 went to
unstable.

So, perhaps you want to turn this into a RFP or split it in some bug
reports about the regressions you perceived?
