Bug#677377: default theme has usability problems, theme difficult to change

When not using gnome (I assume), the default theme has serious
usability problems. The active tab, for example, is hardly
distinguishable from the others.

There are a lot of posts about this out there, so I will just quote a

A workaround for this is to set the following in your
~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini:

[Settings]
gtk-theme-name = Adwaita
gtk-fallback-icon-theme = gnome

This installs a shiny theme that is at least usable. But it is
annoying and seems to be the only gtk3 theme available in Debian from
what I can tell.
