Bug#1013291: gdbus monitor is not receiving signals

Package: libglib2.0-bin
Version: 2.72.2-2
Severity: normal

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512

Contrary to Bullseye, gdbus monitor does not report emitted signals in Sid. As
an example.

In tab 1 I run:

gdbus monitor --session --dest=org.freedesktop.Notifications

In tab 2 I run:

gdbus call --session --dest=org.freedesktop.Notifications --object-path=/org/freedesktop/Notifications --method=org.freedesktop.Notifications.Notify "" 0 "" 'Hello world!' 'This is an example notification.' '[]' '{"urgency": <1>}' 5000

When I close the notification, the monitor should actually receive
a org.freedesktop.Notifications.NotificationClosed signal. And in Bullseye it
does, and dbus-monitor shows it as well, but gdbus does not show it in Sid.
Also emitting the signal via dbus-send or similar does not lead to any event on
the monitor.

Regards, Daniel
