Please open a separate bug for separate issues.

If you file that bug, could you use a user and usertag for gnome-shell
44 as was done with https://bugs.debian.org/1037163 ?

That allows us to use a tracker like
https://udd.debian.org/cgi-bin/bts-usertags.cgi?user=pkg-gnome-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org&tag=gnome-shell-44
to figure out what the blockers are for getting GNOME Shell 44 into
Unstable.
