Debian Testing's version of this package only provides the Clearlooks
&amp; High Contrast themes. Therefore, I'm marking this bug as done for
that version.

It looks like you are actually using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. You could try
to find someone to sponsor your fix there but it's a lot of work since
the patch would also need to be applied to all newer supported Ubuntu
releases according to policy. That is Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and 25.10
(26.04 LTS is not affected for the same reason Debian Testing is not.)

My recommendation is to upgrade to Ubuntu 26.04 LTS. There are only a
few gtk2 apps left there so maybe you don't need gtk2 any more.
