Hello,

as I have tested on both trixie (version 1:48.1-2+b1) and unstable 
(version 1:51~beta-1),
the described problem (the history not scrolling automatically) doesn't 
happen.

For the features you requested, you probably should ask the upstream 
maintainers/developers for that,
however before that check if those are not implemented in the newest 
upstream version.
