To provide some more detail: Your buildlogs lack this exact warning:

gpgme1.0-1.18.0/build/lang/python/setup.py:21: DeprecationWarning: The distutils package is deprecated and slated for removal in Python 3.12. Use setuptools or check PEP 632 for potential alternatives

This warning was added in python3.10.

I think that is very strong indication that something outdated is
used.
