Package: netbeans
Version: 8.1+dfsg3-2
Followup-For: Bug #991408

Dear Maintainer,
I use the debian Buster version, I installed netbeans from the official repository ,
the installation went without problems however when starting netbeans the program does not launch and tells me that it lacks modules .
One of the solutions suggested on various forums is to delete the directory ~/cache/etbeans/8.1 ,
to uninstall and reinstall netbeans but it still did not work .
I solved the problem by clearing my cache of source packages with apt-get clean then forcing an update on the distribution
which is the last distribution not encountering this problem (stretch) and I reinstalled netbeans with the strech dependencies .
I think the new package buster versions , like libnb-org-openide-modules-java or libnb-org-openide-util-java,
which are in version (10.0-2) break the compatibility with the version of netbeans offered in the repositories .
Either update netbeans or downgrade dependent packages to the version running netbeans .

sincerly,
   KENGF
