Subject: mariadb-client-core: /usr/bin/mysqlcheck to /usr/bin/maridb-check
symlink does not exist

Package: mariadb-client-core
Version: 1:11.8.6-0+deb13u1
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: jim.barber.73@gmail.com

Dear Maintainer,

The mariadb* packages provide /usr/bin/mysql* symlinks to the
appropriate /usr/bin/mariadb-* binaries, however it seems to be missing
the mysqlcheck -> mariadb-check one.

I only noticed it because I'm using a package from an external apt
repository that has a package that depends on virtual-mysql-server that
installs mariadb-server and its dependencies.

It installed a job in /etc/cron.weekly/ that invokes the
/usr/bin/mysqlcheck command which fails at the moment.

Since mariadb-check is in the mariadb-client-core, I figured the bug
report belongs here.
