<body><p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">Hi, </p>
<p> <p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">probably this is not related to nvidia modules only and as far as I can see, the correction should be already be in the nvidia driver 390.138-4?<p> </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">With kernel 5.8.0-1 and <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Noto Sans;">5.8.0-2 my Laptop is not able to start X11 while using kernel 5.7.0-3 ist still working.</span></span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">However on startup I see messages that many modules couldn't be loaded, not only the nvidia modules.</p>
<p> <p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">Here are some details:</p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;"><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"><span style="font-family:monospace;">root@vega4:~/install# dpkg -l "linux-image*"|egrep "(ii|hi)" </span></span><p> </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">root@vega4:~/install# dpkg -l "*nvidia*"|egrep "(ii|hi)" <p> </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;"><p> </p>
<p> <p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">Best regards</p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;">Reiner</p>
