Subject: libxml-parser-perl - doc-base Files: field for Format: Text mixes
 two unrelated files

Package: libxml-parser-perl
Version: 2.47-2
Severity: minor

The doc-base control file
/usr/share/doc-base/libxml-parser-perl.libxml-parser-perl
lists two unrelated files under a single Format: Text stanza:

Format: Text
Files:
 /usr/share/doc/libxml-parser-perl/Encodings/README
 /usr/share/doc/libxml-parser-perl/Encodings/Japanese_Encodings.msg.gz

Per the doc-base spec, Files: is intended for multiple files that
together make up one document (e.g. a chunked manual), not multiple
unrelated files. README and Japanese_Encodings.msg.gz are independent,
unrelated documents that happen to share a directory.

This causes doc-base consumers (e.g. doc-central) to concatenate both
paths into a single link, producing a malformed URL, e.g.:

/doc/libxml-parser-perl/Encodings/README /doc/libxml-parser-perl/Encodings/Japanese_Encodings.msg.gz

Suggested fix: split into two separate Format:/Files: stanzas, or list
only README under Format: Text and drop the .msg.gz reference (or give
it its own entry).
