I was indeed wondering whether it would be useful to report because of that.
As you noticed I did decide to report it and add the upstream tag because of 
it, but I can understand closing it :)
If more ppl would report it, you could chose to reopen it so it would be 
better visible as I didn't check closed bug reports, but I'll leave that up to 
you.
