      behavior of pulse audio, intermittently losing sound at random,

      tried to correct with pavucontrol, didn't work, I tried to

      reinstall pulsse audio, this worked for a while until I did a

      dist-upgrade, no packages removed, lost sound completely, none of

      the above fixes worked.<br>
