http://<myip> only gets me to apache launch page. http://<myip>/roundcube and http://<myip>/webmail do nothing.</div>

One might want to use a remote database host instead; in that case<br>
mariadb-server is not required, so it would be a superflous dependency.<br>

Install roundcube-sqlite3 instead if you want to use a SQLite database.<br>

You'll find a configuration snippet at /etc/apache2/conf-available/roundcube.conf .<br>
There is a debconf question asking whether apache2 should be autoconfigured.<br>
