I am not sure if we should start doing this work now.
- Ruby 1.9 probably won't be the official ruby version 2008
- Ruby 1.9 is still a moving target
- Supporting Ruby 1.9 will bring us many bugs. I just removed ruby1.9
  support from some packages which were FTBFSing because of ruby1.9
  changes.

I would prefer to wait until at least ruby 1.9 is released. Then work
with our upstreams on those issues. (ie not maintain Debian-specific
patches for that)
