Hello. This also happened to me.

In addition to being a Debian Policy violation, the Release Managers
usually consider network access during build (with or without FTBFS)
to be RC, so I'm raising to serious.

After fixing this in unstable, please consider fixing it in stable
as well, as it also fails here in bookworm:
