Wolfgang,

If I identify to the nickserver I get : You are already logged in as
....... This is not supprising because I can log in to other debian
chatrooms.

So perhaps it is narrowed down for spammers or so. If I select the
room it keeps hanging on connection (three dots after the chatroom
name)
