From a system administrator point of view I would prefer to choose b) to
not ship squeeze with a too old version of samba which will help the
user of squeeze with support by upstream and lower the versions we have
to care about after the release(lenny 3.2, squeeze 3.5, >=sid 3.6 or
what the latest version will be).
