(org.freedesktop.timedate1 or timedatectl) will replace /etc/localtime<br>

time might be incorrectly set for systems with a separate /usr.<br>

initramfs-tools currently doesn't mount /usr, so we should consider<br>
(temporarily) replacing the symlink with a copy until [1] is fixed or<br>
push harder to get the usr-mount support in initramfs-tools in.<br></blockquote><div>systemd does not only _use_ a symlink for /etc/localtime, it REQUIRES a symlink for /etc/localtime, as it get the timezone from the target of the link<br>
