    <p>This really breaks my system without notice.</p>

    <p>I can understand that deprecated files can't stay forever, but I

      have net.ipv4.ip_forward=1 and net.ipv6.conf.all.forwarding=1 in

      /etc/sysctl.conf</p>

    <p>All my devices lost Internet after a reboot. I spent 2 hours

      finding the root cause.</p>

    <p>Telling administrator to create a symlink might be a good idea.

      Please do it in a NEWS entry. This is really important.</p>
