Sorry for the late reply.  The Debian sysvinit just lack the man-power
to handle all related the bugs in BTS. :(

I'm both with upstream and the Debian package.  As upstream developer, I
would be happy to accept such manual pages. :)

In fact, I would prefer a upstream patch including the use of po4a to
maintain translated manual pages.

Please send a patch relative to the subversion repository listed on
<URL: https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/sysvinit > to
sysvinit-devel at nongnu.org and I'll pick it up from there.  We are
currently working on a new upstream release with fixes from several
distributions, and a translation framework for the manual pages would be
great to get included. :)
