Hey.

Just wondered whether there is any concrete plan how to move on with
this?

While admittedly I don't like using JavaScript as configuration,
too,... it's arguably far more powerful than the old way.

Many things which would be possibly with polkit (even simple ones like
allowing certain users to restart certain systemd units) is not
possible right now in Debian. :-/
