Is nvram-wakeup still developed and maintained?

Hi. I recently rediscovered the advantages of nvram-wakeup, in
concert with my package shutdown-at-night, which turn unused clients
automatically off at night and wake them up again in the morning. The
wakeup part uses either nvram-wakeup or wake-on-lan from a server.
The nvram-wakeup solution is the most elegant one, as it do not
require a server.

Because of this, I care about the state of nvram-wakeup in Debian, and
looking at the bug list, it seem to be mostly unmaintained. Is this
true? Checking out upstream, it seem to be dead there too. Is there
any development going on upstream that is not reflected in the mailing
lists? Support for several new computer models are only in the Debian
package, and patches for more is in the Debian bug tracking system,
<URL:http://bugs.debian.org/nvram-wakeup>. The upstream mailing list
is filled with spam, and I was unable to find any project related post
for several years.

CC to the upstream author and mailing list. :)

Happy hacking,
