The result<br class="">should be a much better editable and maintanable build procedure for the<br class="">upstream code.<br class=""><br class="">I started to fix the two blockers that caused a previous REJECT for an<br class="">upload to Debian experimental, and finished the conversion to using<br class="">git-debrebase. The result is now in the master branch on salsa.<br class=""><br class="">We targeted experimental again, because there's work needed on the<br class="">libraries (and which binary packages they go in) which turns out to have<br class="">a bunch of missing and incorrect placements and sonames. More about this<br class="">later. Fixing this will be done as part of, or will be able to happen in<br class="">an easier way after Ians current work.<br class=""><br class="">I still have to process my notes on paper, and when doing so, I'll add<br class="">all the info to the TODO page [0] first, before deciding how to proceed<br class="">from there.
